This wine was featured in our summer truffle dinner prepared by the wonderful Chef Ania. The Willamette valley in Oregon has established itself as a great growing region for Pinot Noir and when you pair the awesome terroir with the palette and wine making skills of Master Sommelier Raj Par, the result is an amazing standout.
This Pinot has the perfect balance of acidity, earth, and fruit. I pick up a hint of mushrooms that is perfectly balanced with bright berries. It can be aged for many years or enjoyed now. Pairs perfectly with chicken, duck, pork and all kinds of other foods. This is one of if not, the best Pinot Noir produced in the USA. I said it.
