Alto Adige is one of my favorite regions of Italy. The vineyards are right on the base of the dolomites, ranging from 700-800 meters above sea level, where the cool climate makes for fun, acid driven, drinking wines. This entire winery only makes about 3,500 cases a year.
This Pinot Grigio is no exception. Very intense notes of flowers with a long fruity finish of banana, citrus, and minerals.
